The owner of this home has a highly refined taste and a keen eye for innovative art and trends. On one of her quests for beauty in this world, she wandered into the RAW Interiors store and purchased our book. A few months later, she approached us for the renovation of her farmhouse. However, just as we had submitted the application for that project to the municipality, this plot of land came her way.

Both she and her husband had a crystal-clear vision for their new home: a modern reinterpretation of the Southern Woods Villa, which I originally designed in 2005. After a beautiful design process—navigating the regulations and restrictions of the plot—this home took shape, evoking the essence of a South African estate. With its sightlines, material combinations, and refined detailing, it truly embodies that spirit.
